  • How is Uplift Rehab responding to Covid 19?
We continue to follow all Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and work to update our processes with the latest changes to ensure safety. All home visits will be done with the physiotherapist wearing surgical mask at all times. We advise our clients to also don on a surgical mask unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. We follow proper infection control procedures which include strict hand hygiene before and after sessions and thorough wipe down and sanitization of all our equipment used in the session.
  • Do I have to be referred by a doctor?
No, anyone can be seen by a Physiotherapist. If you have a discharge summary from a hospital or a recent clinic letter from a doctor, please have it ready to show the physiotherapist during your initial consultation.
  • What should I expect at an assessment?
We will ask you some questions about how your condition is affecting you. This is followed by a physical assessment with an explanation of our findings, followed by discussion of your treatment goals and our recommendations for future treatment.
  • Can I speak to the physiotherapist before arranging an assessment?
Yes, please contact us for a free phone consultation as it will helpful for us to gain some information about your condition prior to the home visit. Call us at 8032 9717 or email us at
  • Will I be able to claim my insurance?
It is important that you clarify with your insurers regarding the details of your insurance and the condition you are seeking treatment for. Uplift Rehab will issue you an invoice for each treatment session.
